WELCOME TO EISENHOWER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Eisenhower Elementary Soar- Eagle logo

Welcome to Eisenhower! It is truly an honor to serve as the principal of this incredible school. I feel fortunate to be part of a community with such a proud tradition of excellence, and I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with our students, families, and staff.

From the very first day I walked through our doors, one thing became clear: people love Eisenhower. The staff, students, and families welcomed me with kindness, warmth, and genuine excitement. As I spent more time in our school, I realized this wasn't simply the way people welcomed a new principal. It is who we are.

Eisenhower has the feel of a true neighborhood school. It is a close knit community where people know one another, care for one another, and come together to do what is best for kids. Our families are valued partners, our staff is deeply committed to every student, and our students know they are surrounded by adults who believe in them. That culture of relationships, trust, and collaboration is what makes Eisenhower such a special place, and it is one of the things I am most proud to be a part of.

When people ask me, "Why Eisenhower?" my answer is always the same: the people and the relationships.

We believe relationships are the foundation for learning. Every child deserves to feel known, valued, and connected before they can truly thrive. Our staff takes the time to build meaningful relationships with students because we know that when children feel safe, supported, and cared for, they gain the confidence to take risks, embrace challenges, and discover what they are capable of.

At the same time, we believe every child is capable of achieving great things. We hold high expectations because we believe in our students while providing the encouragement and support they need to succeed. Caring for the whole child means helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally so they leave Eisenhower not only as strong learners, but as kind, resilient, and compassionate people.

That commitment has created a long tradition of excellence. Eisenhower has been recognized multiple times as a John Irwin School of Excellence, along with other honors celebrating outstanding student achievement. While we are proud of those accomplishments, what makes me most proud is the culture behind them. It is a school where students are challenged, supported, and genuinely cared for every single day.

As your principal, my commitment is simple. I want every child to be known, valued, challenged, and supported. I want every family to know they have a trusted partner in our school, and I want every student to look forward to coming to school each day because they know they belong here.

Thank you for being part of the Eisenhower community. I am excited for all that lies ahead and look forward to partnering with you as we continue building on the incredible legacy of this special school.

Go Eagles!
